Homemade Naan Bread
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp instant yeast
3/4 cup warm milk
2 tablespoons plain greek yogurt or sour cream
1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
2-3 tablespoons warm water (as needed)
Instructions:
Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Add flour, salt, yogurt & oil and mix until shaggy dough forms.
Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and allow to double in size (about 1-1.5 hours).
Divide into 6 even balls and flatten with your hand.
Sear in a dry skillet until bubbles form (about 1-2 minutes).
Cover with towel to keep warm.
Optional:
Brush with garlic butter and top with parsley!
